Current Supplements

I’m going through a phase of trying a lot of supps (for me at least) at once.

Seven Seas cod liver oil plus multivitamins : Let’s face it, I don’t eat all that healthy, at least not when my girlfriend isn’t forcing me to, so I need the vitamins. And the cod liver oil seems like a good idea for the joints.

Boots glucosamine sulphate : I do (or at least, used to, and plan to get back to) martial arts, which can be pretty bad for your joints, hence the joint care double whammy.

Body fortress protoplex deluxe : For post-workout shakes. See my review.

Met-Rx protein plus bars : For a snack every once in a while. See my review.

Body fortress creatine caps : Just started trying these out. Yes, experimenting with creatine again.

Body fortress L-glutamine powder. Just started trying these out too.

Other than the supps, I don’t really have much of a diet plan. I try to avoid sugary/fatty stuff, and eat some protein with most meals. Breakfast is usually porridge. I’m happy with my weight, and while I’m not trying to bulk per se, I wouldn’t mind putting on some more muscle, so I’m not calorie counting.

I just bought the creatine high performance. I took a 5 hour energy shot and had a scoop of super advanced creatine high performance. It made me nautious. Within an hour I had dry heaves and took a 2 1/2 hour nap. I never take naps. I thought it would boost my energy and i would hit the gym. Is it my body hasn’t adjusted?

Particularly, I don’t drink caffiene. All i wanted was more energy. I still have great gains. I don’t want more weight. I am trying to cut weight and lose fat. What should I do.

I am 39 years old and sick of waisting my money on gym-ics. Please help!
